The sensual nature of art has always intrigued me and been my favorite mode of expression.
Watercolors, pastels, acrylic and oil paintings collectively are my language. I gain inspiration for subject matter from the kaleidoscope of colors and textures of the world around me as well as contemporary social morays.
I strive to bring public awareness to endangered and extinct species.
I have fond memories of being in my father, Keats Petree’s art studio. He was a successful commercial artist, illustrator and cartoonist who instilled in me a passion for art. The name of the studio is a combination of my name and his.
Having recently retired from corporate life, I am excited to go full steam ahead with my creative endeavors. I live in Georgia with my husband of 37 years and enjoy my children and grandchildren who provide constant inspiration.
